PrairieStar Health Center is a full service medical and dental office. We offer comprehensive medical and dental services, selected eye services, and laboratory services to people of all ages. Appointments are usually available within 24 hours for minor illness or injury. It is our pleasure to serve you!
PrairieStar files most types of insurance on behalf of our patients. We accept Visa and MasterCard for your payment convenience. We utilize a sliding fee scale based on annual income and family size for patients who provide us with this information. Patients without insurance are welcome!
Following are some of PrairieStar's highlights:
- PrairieStar has been providing primary care services in Reno County since 1995.
- PrairieStar is designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). Because of this designation, PrairieStar receives a federal grant to help us provide quality care at affordable prices. PrairieStar is one of only eleven FQHCs in Kansas.
- PrairieStar assists patients in applying for prescription medication through the various pharmaceutical companies. Patients who are eligible receive three months of medicine for just $10.00.
- PrairieStar participates in state-wide diabetic and hypertension patient management networks, which enable us to offer greater assistance to our patients in the management of these diseases.
- We refer patients to specialists and for lab, x-rays, and other services PrairieStar does not provide in house.
